Very simply and very effective NoLimit low stake strategy.
Table
selection.
You always
need at least 7 opponents, otherwise you will pay the big blind too often and
would therefore be forced to play free pokerdifferently. You always need as many players
as possible with a lot of money at the table. ALWAYS BUY IN WITH 20 BIG
BLINDS!! If the big blind is $0.10, you take $2.00 to the table. If you end up
with less than 15 big blinds, you rebuy back to 20 big blinds. In case you win
and have more than 30 big blinds, stand up and leave the table, as you can no
longer play profitably.
Preflop play
The
Starting Hands Chart.
If You
have:
AA, KK– It
does not matter what your opponents do – ALWAYS RAISE!
QQ, JJ, AK
– if all players fold or one player call the BigBlind You RAISE.
If two or
more raises in fornt of You - FOLD .
TT, 99, AQ
– in early position always FOLD. If anyone call or raise You FOLD.
If You are
in middle or late position and nobody call You RAISE.
88, 77, AJ,
KQ – You RAISE in late position ONLY if nobody call or raise.
If your
hand isn't in the chart, you muck it.
If you are
the first to enter the pot, you bet 4 times the big blind.
If other
players already joined the pot but only limped (only paid the big blind), you
bet 4 times the big blind plus one more big blind for each limper.
If somebody
made a bet and nobody called, you raise 3 times the amount of his bet.
If somebody
made a bet and exactly one player called, you raise 4 times the amount of the
initial bet. If two players called, you raise 5 times the amount of the initial
bet. With three callers, you raise 6 times, etc.
Play after the flop
If You have
strong hand :
- You bet
2/3 of the pot.
- If
somebody else already bet or raises after you, you push all-in.
If You have
a Draw:
You raised pre-flop:
- You bet 2/3 of the pot.
- If somebody else already bet or raises after
you, you push all-in.
You did not
raise pre-flop:
- You check and muck your hand in case anybody
bets.
If You have
Trash Hand:
You don't
invest more money.
Exception 1
– You raised pre-flop and only have one opponent:
You bet 2/3
of the pot. If your opponent raises, calls or already bet before you, your hand
is done.
Exception 2
– You raised pre-flop and only have less than half of the pot left:
You push
all-in in any case.
Generally:
If you have to bet more than half of your stack, you push all-in instead and
bet all of it.
