ImageThomas "boku" Boeckhoff has reached the end of the 15-day challenge and he has successfully managed to turn $100 into $10,000 after playing more than 7,000 SnG's in two weeks.

As we reported earlier Boku made a prop-bet with the poker community, claiming that he can turn $100 into $10,000 in just 15 days by playing nothing but SnGs.

Boku's challenge is over and after 14 days of play he managed to reach his target - a profit of over $9,900. This means that not only he succeeded in winning the challenge, but he did so with some time to spare.

$10,000 in 2 weeks
After an incredible start, which allowed him to quickly settle on the $11 & $16 SNG levels

Bokuhad to persevere several long break-even and downswing phases in which he stagnated for up to 2 days without moving forward.  Instead of despairing he increased his volume and started playing even longer hours. His record was 678 SNGs in one day.

According to his blog though, the true breakthrough came when he realized that it wasn't just the volume - but also the quality that was essential to winning this bet.  He therefore reduced the amount of tables he would play during the second half of the day, which was rewarded with higher win rates.

Overall, he played a total of 7,432 games (with 381,804 hands) with buy-ins ranging from $1 to $16 and his average ROI was 15%. In short, he made $1.36 for every SnG he played.

The "boku Challenge" has brought Thomas '
boku' Boeckhoff more than just the "Victory" and the money gained from perma-grinding for 14 days and winning the propbet.

His challenge was the main topic of discussion for thousands of poker players all around the world, with many calling him a living legend and over 1,000 players railing him during the final tournaments. Even PokerStars has seemingly gained interest in "one of the best SNG players of our time" (as stated by PokerStars VIP supporter Scotty).

PokerStars is apparently planning a blog story, a podcast interview and few further "items" on boku's sensational achievement. In addition to this the poker room will be offering a $10,000 freeroll for all those players that decided to bet against
boku in the challenge. That means $10.000 prize money, nine paid spots and the chance to kick the player to whom they lost their money, out of the tournament is waiting for the 37 players who had bet against him.
